God called Elias peacefully on Monday May 23, 2016 at the age of 81. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Alcina. He will be cherished by his dear son Carlos and daughter in law Jenny. Proud grandfather of Karina and Kaitlyn. He will be held dear in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Toronto Chapel (2080 Dufferin street 416 656-3332) on Thursday May 26, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 27, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Helen’s Roman Catholic Church (1680 Dundas Street West, Toronto). Entombment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery (2845 Bloor Street West, Toronto). If so desired donations in lieu of flowers in memory of Elias may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
