God called Santina peacefully on August 21, 2016 at the age of 91. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband, Giovanni and her daughter Adele. Cherished by her dear children, Maria (Giuseppe), Enrica (Peter). Proud grandmother to Mauro (Lina), Sandra, Dante, Daniela, Adele (Jason), Stephanie (Frank), Luisa, Sonia, and Serena. Adoring great grandmother to Samantha, Veronica, James, Erica, Adam, Adrian, Matia and Alice. Santina will always be remembered by her sister Giuseppina (Remo) and her brothers Guiliermo-Pre Deceased (Luisa) and Costanino-Pre deceased (Anita). She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Tuesday August 23, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday August 24, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.). Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (on Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave.). If so desired, donations in memory of Santina may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
